Nutanix systemに於いて blockは、1シャーシー内のNode群のことと思われる。(要確認。)

Nutanixは、1～4 sever nodeを収容するシャーシをblockと呼んでいる。

NDFS is currently node and block aware, however this will increase to rack aware as cluster sizes grow. Nutanix refers to a “block” as the chassis which contains either one, two or four server “nodes”.　　(Nutanix Bible, "Availability Domains" section.)
